  	The story goes that
after Bowie saw Stevie perform at the Montreuz Jazz Festival in 1982 he 
  
  asked Stevie to join his band
and tour in support of his new album "Serious Moonlight". After a few 
  
  rehearsals Stevie decided to skip
joining Bowie's band so this is all we get to hear. It would have 
  
  been amazing. Supposedly these were
recorded by Bowies manager using a mono Nagra machine, on April 26
  & 27 1983 at the 'Las Colinas Soundstage'
in Dallas, Texas.
  
  	These recordings were "obtained" by a guy called 'heyricky' (who died of an overdose
in 2005)
  and he remixed the lot in "mock" stereo.
  
  	There's quite a few bootlegs of these
rehearsals doing the round, but these are supposedly
  the better sounding of them all.
  
  *NOTE*
  
  	I've obtained these files chez 'dimeadozen' back in late 2006. It
was originally a double CD
  but the torrent was not completely seeded and I only got the second disc (this one).
Disc one contains
  rehearsals from the previous night (26th of April), but I was never able to find a decent FLAC
copy.
  
  	Files are uploaded as I found them, except for me filling out the tags properly and making a

 printable CD-label.
  
  	There's some audible tape-hiss, but not to the extent it deteriorates the quality
of the music,
  nor the listening pleasure.
